“Ready to make HISTORY”- Brandon Moreno claims fourth fight against Deiveson Figueiredo is biggest in the flyweight division
Brandon Moreno looking forward to tetralogy fight
The biggest flyweight fight in the history of the promotion is in the making according to Brandon Moreno, the interim flyweight champion. The Mexican superstar is ready to take on his fierce rival Deiveson Figueiredo in a fourth title fight and wants to become the undisputed flyweight champion.
There has never been a time when two fighters in the UFC fought each other four times. History is in the making for the flyweight division as Brandon Moreno and Deiveson Figueiredo agree to fight each other for the fourth time inside the octagon. The Assassin Baby wants to etch his name in the history books as he aims to become the undisputed flyweight champion after the tetralogy.
Moreno set up the fourth fight against Figueiredo after his win against Kai Kara-France at UFC 277. The fighter TKO’d the New Zealand fighter in the last PPV event and also invited his nemesis, Figgy inside the octagon to set their next rematch. Figgy and Moreno have fought each other three times in the past but the Mexican doesn’t seem to be tired of him. In a recent TMZ Sports interview, Moreno spoke about his upcoming tetralogy.

Brandon Moreno says the fight against Deiveson Figueiredo is for his “legacy”
Moreno and Figgy’s series is tied at 1-1-1 right now. In the last fight, Moreno lost to Figgy via a controversial decision. The fighter believes the fourth bout will be the biggest fight in the history of the flyweight division. “The fourth between Figueiredo and I is the biggest one. Easily, so far like, tell me the second place and even that is very long way apart of ours,” said Moreno in his interview.
“I’m excited to make more history. To make legacy. I was a little frustrated when Deiveson said no the first time when asked about the fourth fight. I was like hungry of like legacy, like glory, and put more things in the book,” said Moreno about his upcoming legacy fight.
According to Moreno, things are rightly falling into place as he also holds the interim flyweight belt and it would be more meaningful to end the fourth fight by becoming the undisputed champion. Deiveson wants to up the stakes by taking the fight to Brazil at the beginning of 2023.
