Legendary UFC fighter Chuck Liddell’s divorce and custody fight with estranged wife Heidi Northcott has taken a new turn. This has contributed to the already complicated nature of their relationship. Recently, Chuck accused Heidi of breaking their custody arrangement by denying him access to their two children on his birthday. This has now evolved into a court battle.
According to court records, Chuck Liddell alleged that he went to Heidi’s house on his birthday, December 17, to pick up his two children. Chuck further said that she allegedly drove away with them in the car, refusing to follow the agreed-upon custody arrangements. This is what Chuck’s legal representation said:

After a decade of marriage, the couple split in 2021, causing substantial legal difficulties. During their highly publicized divorce procedures, ex-wife Heidi Northcott accused Liddell of domestic abuse. This resulted in the arrest of the former champion, who was later released owing to a ‘lack of evidence.’
The allegations and counter-accusations between Chuck and Heidi portray a complicated picture of their difficult relationship. The court-appointed lawyer’s involvement and the children’s prospective testimony add a fascinating depth to this high-profile case.
Heidi Northcott makes counter-accusations on Chuck Liddell
Heidi Northcott, Chuck’s former wife, has strongly refuted the UFC legend’s charges that she violated their custody arrangement. The legal drama began when Chuck claimed Heidi broke their agreed-upon custody arrangements on his birthday. He requested the court’s intervention to hold her in contempt. As revealed in court records, Heidi’s response paints a different picture.

Heidi has requested that a court-appointed lawyer question their two children to dispute Chuck’s charges. This will also throw light on the incident in question from their viewpoint. Heidi’s proactive attitude demonstrates her desire to provide a thorough account of the events leading up to Chuck’s charges.
Heidi claimed Chuck had talked with their children both the day before and on the disputed day. She claimed Chuck was hesitant to attend his daughter’s cheerleading performance, which coincided with his birthday. Heidi said their daughter’s cheerleading event was deemed “important.” When Chuck arrived at her house, their son decided to stay with his mother, leading to Chuck’s interference.
This custody dispute follows the couple’s decision to temporarily settle their custody battle and work towards a divorce agreement. Chuck will pay $2,104 in child support and $2,689 in spousal support every month under the temporary agreement. Heidi can also take $2,000 from a joint bank account, with possible deductions for Chuck’s future responsibilities.
