Irish superstar Conor McGregor was dejected after his compatriot Katie Taylor lost her fight. At the event, he also got hit by a bottle.

Conor McGregor recently attended a historical women’s boxing bout at his home ground in Ireland. Someone in the crowd threw a drink at the UFC fighter when he attended the Katie Taylor vs. Chantelle Cameron boxing bout.
A dejected Conor McGregor stood in the ring while the drinks came at him. The iconic fight occurred in Dublin, Ireland, and the UFC star sponsored his fellow Irish fighter. An undefeated Katie Taylor moved up a weight class for the light welterweight title. In an attempt to claim the WBO, WBA, WBC, IBO IBF, and The Ring female light-welterweight titles, she incurred her first professional loss against Cameron via majority decision.
Earlier with Eddie Hearn, Conor McGregor had announced that he was sponsoring Katie Taylor. McGregor attended the event to support Taylor. Cameras caught a drink flying in from the audience and hitting McGregor in the head. An alarmed McGregor and his security detail immediately looked back to locate the person who threw the drink. Nevertheless, the culprit disappeared amidst the sea of people attending the event. The cameras did not catch the person throwing the drink.
McGregor took to Instagram to write a hearty message appreciating Taylor’s efforts. He admired her skills, fitness, and toughness and wrote, “You are an Irish Warrior! I love you Katie, I am honored to know you and be in your presence! Thank you so much!…“

Conor McGregor has had an eventful 2023. McGregor has released a Netflix Documentary and starred in his debut Hollywood movie. He made his second stint as coach at ESPN’s The Ultimate Fighter 31. He attended multiple high-profile events, including the Ryan Garcia vs. Gervonta Davis fight and the recent Katie Taylor vs. Chantelle Cameron bout in Ireland.
Now McGregor was spotted relaxing in his luxury Lamborghini superyacht in Monaco’s ‘playground of the rich’. Earlier, he was seen walking in the streets of Cannes. He met French MMA fighter and former Interim UFC heavyweight champion Ciryl Gane. McGregor and Gane exchanged pleasantries as they crossed paths unexpectedly.
Conor McGregor is set to make his much-awaited UFC comeback later this year. ‘The Notorious’ has been away from the octagon since his devastating leg break at his trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. Needless to say, fans cannot wait to see their favorite Irish superstar back in the octagon. McGregor is reportedly set to face Michael Chandler in the December PPV event.
