Coach Javier Mendez wants Conor McGregor to be “somebody that everybody can respect” as Irishman continues to put out hate tweets towards Khabib Nurmagomedov

Conor McGregor has been reckless on his social media platforms as he continues to put out hate tweets towards his former rival, Khabib Nurmagomedov till today. Javier Mendez, who is a coach of the Dagestani, gives his honest opinion on the Irishman.

Javier Mendez has always kept it a buck about his opinion in any interview he does. The coach to five UFC champions believes UFC superstar Conor McGregor should stop being disrespectful and focus on him being just a fighter. Recently McGregor was bitter about Islam Makhachev becoming the new lightweight champion at UFC 280.

The Irishman made some vile comments about Nurmagomedov’s father while reacting to Makhachev’s tweet. Coach Mendez, who spoke to Submission Radio after his pupil’s championship gave his brutal opinion on the fighter. “I don’t care for him,” said Javier Mendez in his interview.

“I wish he can just be a fighter. Somebody that everybody can respect and at least love, you know? Not get people to hate, and then think that’s cool,” said the AKA head coach. McGregor is still not back to his fighting form but has put out a lot of tweets where he claims he is ready to take on anyone in the world.

Javier Mendez has “zero respect” for Conor McGregor

Javier Mendez was the coach of Khabib Nurmagomedov when he fought Conor McGregor back in 2018. Even during the ugliest of rivalries between the two, Mendez always was respectful towards the Irishman. However, in recent times, the AKA coach has lost all respect for the superstar.

McGregor has taken his trash-talking/insults over the line multiple times in his feud with Nurmagomedov as he threw nasty jibes at his late father, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov. This is one of the main reasons why Mendez does not respect the Irishman.

“I don’t like Conor. So, I don’t care for him and the reason why I don’t care for him is, he made those comments regard the COVID situation,” said Mendez in an interview with Submission Radio.

“You’re not gonna get my appreciation because the whole world suffered. Whether you were joking, whether you’re not, you made those comments and to me, I just have zero respect,” added the AKA coach.
