Making his UFC debut in 2013 against Marcus Brimmage, Conor McGregor went on to achieve some historic feats in the promotion. Not only did the Irishman achieve fame and fortune, but he also cemented his legacy by becoming a two-division world champion. McGregor holds notable wins over the likes of Jose Aldo, Eddie Alvarez, and Donald Cerrone to name a few.

Diaz once visited Chipsa Hospital and met cancer survivors. Diaz spoke to the survivors about fighting their fears and staying strong. This gesture from the MMA great was appreciated by all. While many complimented Diaz for the same, McGregor too took to his Twitter and spoke about the Stockton native. He wrote, “Real fighting legend.”
