Dana wants to make Tyson Fury vs Jon Jones inside the UFC octagon. Recently one of the most fierce Internet rivalries that attracted a lot of attention was between Jones and Fury. Both superstars threw shades towards each other claiming to be the ‘Baddest man on the planet’. The altercation ended with Fury suggesting that he’s a boxer and won’t step into the octagon. While it was interesting when it lasted, fans later thought it was all talk without anything serious.

However, UFC president Dana White has now extended his offer to make the fight between Jones and Fury in order to see who is the real ‘Baddest man on the planet’.

Dana White said in a recent press conference: “There’s this debate right now about the baddest man on the planet, right? Jon Jones is the baddest man on the planet. If you want to discuss another possible baddest man on the planet, it would be Tyson Fury in a boxing [ring], and we all know that if Jon Jones boxes Tyson Fury, Tyson Fury wins. All these boxing guys want to want to talk about this, and they want to keep it in the ring.” He continued to mention that the UFC will host the event and like in the case of Floyd Mayweather, they will definitely find a way to pay Fury his huge wage for the fight

He added: “I’m telling Tyson Fury, whom I respect very much. If you really want to find out who the baddest man on the planet is, I will make that fight. I will make Jon Jones vs. Tyson Fury in the octagon. And, you know, we figured out how to pay Floyd and figure out how to pay you to Tyson. So the offer is out there if you want to do it in the UFC.”

The last cross-platform event took place in 2017 between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather which is the biggest PPV event of all time with 4.3 million domestic buys. It isn’t that surprising why White is pushing the idea of Fury vs Jones.
