Dana White has heard his share of vile comments and insults being in the fight business himself. But, UFC star, Chael Sonnen’s joke about Rihanna being physically abused by Chris Brown was not entertained by the UFC boss one bit.
Chael Sonnen is one of the most notorious fighters in the history of UFC. Many believe Sonnen had to walk for stars like Conor McGregor to run. The “Bad Guy” was known for coming up with clever, witty jokes, which was always prone to hurting other people’s feelings.
One time, UFC fighter at the time, Chael Sonnen, made a disgusting joke about Chris Brown beating up Rihanna and compared it to legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather getting praised for beating up fighters who were not at his level. UFC boss Dana White gave his honest reactions to this controversial joke by his fighter.
“You know it’s at the point where I’m not upset,” said White about Sonnen’s joke. “Chael is a smart guy, he’s a funny guy, he’s a talented guy, and has a huge future. Just got to stop with the, you know…first of all, the joke wasn’t that funny. You’re not a comedian and you can’t make fun of domestic violence,” added Dana White talking to the press.

When Chael Sonnen trolled Dana White with a clever joke
White might have not been a fan of Sonnen’s jokes but he sure did get a taste of it himself. When Sonnen and Dana White went live on social media years later, the “Bad Guy” wanted to remind the UFC boss that he still has a few jokes left in him.
White might be one of the smartest businessmen in the sports-entertainment field but clearly not smart enough to get this underrated joke by the UFC superstar. Right when the live session was about to end, Sonnen pulled off a joke that flew right past White’s head.
“I haven’t got to talk to you in a while. I gotta tell you a new joke that’s going around. What is six feet tall, dashing, and disappears in an instant?” asked Chael as he ended the live session abruptly. White, who did not get the joke was left waiting for the “Bad Guy” to finish his punchline.
