With UFC 284 almost upon the community, fans have claimed that there wasn’t ample promotion by Dana White for the Islam Makhachev vs Alexander Volkanovski fight. People have speculated that this is due to Dana promoting the Power Slap more than the fight that has legacy on the line.

Makhachev claimed previously that Dana wasn’t promoting the fight enough, considering the magnitude of the fight. For a fight such as this, Volkanovski fighting for the status of double champ, and Makhachev fighting for the P4P #1 title.

Despite all the claims of lack of promotion, Dana White is confident that the fight would break Conor McGregor’s highest PPV record. The interview also didn’t go so well for Dana as he managed to forget Makhachev’s name during the interview. So the trolls just piled it higher for him.

This fight has a lot on the line for the fighters. It’s not just about the belts anymore for the fighters – it is more about the legacy of the fighters. February 11th will decide who is more dominant in their fighting style – UFC Featherweight Champion or UFC Lightweight Champion. UFC 284 is all to play for.
