“Will make this look easy” – Dricus Du Plessis warns Darren Till ahead of their clash at UFC 282

Darren Till will finally be making his comeback to the Octagon at UFC 282. The Gorilla will be going against the ranked 14th fighter in the middleweight division i.e Dricus Du Plessis. The fight can prove to be pivotal for both fighters.
It seems Dricus Du Plessis wants to get the psychological edge ahead of their clash by provoking his opponent. Du Plessis tried to get under his opponent’s skin commenting on Darren Till’s accessories during the Official weigh-in.
“Hiding under your mask won’t save you tomorrow! Already saw everything I needed to, I will make this look easy. @ MGM Grand Garden Arena.” Du Plessis tweeted taking a dig at Till.
Du Plessis is coming into this fight with a lot of confidence being on a three-match win streak since his UFC debut. However the same cannot be said for Darren, after picking only one win in his last 5 fights. The Gorilla has been preparing very hard training for his comeback fight and would be hoping to get his win.
Darren Till speak about Dricus du Plessis ahead of their showdown
The Gorilla spoke extensively about his preparation and approach to the fight with du Plessis at the pre-fight media scrum. Darren Till believes he is not underestimating his opponent rather it could be the other way around.
He said, “He’s been beating people. He’s on the rise. I’m the guy to take the fight. It’s not like he’s looking up, people say I’m looking down. I’m looking up, and he could be the one looking down on me because he’s winning, so – it’s just going to be a good fight.”
Darren Till was once believed by pundits to be the next big thing in UFC. However, injuries had plagued his career and now he is trying to get his career back on track. While his opponent is on a rise and will try to make a statement out of Darren Till.
They will face each other at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada. The event will also feature Paddy Pimblett vs. Jared Gordon in the co-main, while former light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz will face Magomed Ankalaev for the potential title opportunity.
