Another Kamaru Usman fight and another week of fans debating if the elite welterweight fighter is on PEDs or not. Usman’s latest photoshoot for UFC 286 is out and Twitter is filled with reactions from fans arguing about his natty status.
The recent UFC 286 photoshoot for Kamaru Usman shows the fighter sporting green trunks. This has caught the fans off-guard given the fighter is fighting as the challenger after multiple fights as champion. Usman not wearing the golden champion trunks is not the only thing that has unsettled fight fans.
A recent tweet from MMA Mania compared the physiques of ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ from 2015 & 2023. Fans have decided to debate if the fighter has shown any signs of PED usage. Usman has been a victim of steroid accusations for most of his career. The fighter’s incredibly jacked physique and immense cardio in the octagon have put him under the microscope for “steroid watch”.
The fanbase is split into two arguing the physique of the fighter is almost identical to his past self while many have pointed to the freckles in his abdominal region, claiming that to be injection marks.

Kamaru Usman and Leon Edwards will be fighting for the third time in their careers. The two are now even with one win each. There is no doubt that the UK fighter had the more-memorable win out of the two. Usman is back to reclaim his title in the trilogy fight.
