Jon Jones didn’t disappoint his fans in his much anticipated heavyweight title fight against Ciryl Gane at UFC 285. Jones made his UFC comeback after three long years and this time as a heavyweight fighter. What others think would be a little hard for Jones, the fighter made it look very easy.
In the first few seconds of the fight, Jones caught a groin shot and the fight was halted. After restarting, Jones immediately managed to take Ciryl Gane to the ground by dragging the Frenchman with force. Once on the ground, back to the cage, Gane struggled to defend his position. Jones was putting all his weight on Gane and eventually was able to get a choke which forced Gane to tap.
The whole fight lasted only for 2 minutes and the entire arena was shocked by how easily Jones won the fight. Jones previously did mention that Gane isn’t on his level when it comes to fighting and that is what exactly he proved while settling the debate for the GOAT of MMA.

Jon Jones proved yet again why he’s the greatest UFC fighter to ever grace the octagon. Coming back after three long years, moving up the weight, and beating one of the best heavyweights of the division is as crazy as it sounds. Jones got a lot of appreciation from the fans as well as other fighters after his win at UFC 285.
Jones was extremely happy with the results and thanked his whole fanbase who helped him to stay strong during the training camp as well as the fight week. Right after the fight, Jones also announced that he was coming back in July again to fight Stipe Miocic and give fans another entertaining main event.
