“He is the real deal”- Henry Cejudo believes Cyril Gane is a bigger THREAT than Francis Ngannou for Jon Jones

Henry Cejudo on Ciryl Gane and Jon Jones
According to the former UFC Double champ, Henry Cejudo, Frenchman Ciryl Gane is the biggest threat to his training partner Jon Jones. Cejudo thinks that Gane will be a bigger problem for Jones than even the Heavyweight champion.
Gane has recently knocked out top contender Tai Tuivasa in a dominant fashion at UFC Paris last weekend. Even though Bon Gamin was badly hurt in the second round he survived the onslaught and kept targeting the body of his opponent. In the third round, he stopped the Australian brawler via KO to bag the win in his backyard.
On the other hand, Bones after successfully defending his Light Heavyweight title at UFC 247 against Dominick Reyes vacate the title. He stated the reason for vacating the title to be his plans to move up a weight class to compete at Heavyweight. He took time off competition to bulk up in size to compete at Heavyweight.
However, many rumours of him fighting the former Heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic have surfaced in recent times. Although, nothing official about his matchup at Heavyweight has been confirmed yet.
Henry Cejudo warns his training partner Jon Jones to watch out for Ciryl Gane
After Gane’s win at UFC Paris, Triple C lauded the Frenchman for his fight IQ and his footwork. He also stated that Bon Gamin will be a tougher test for Jones than even the champion Francis Ngannou. Although Ngannou is the only fighter who has defeated Gane in a recent title unification bout. Bones train with Triple C at Jackson’s MMA Acoma gym.
Following the main event win of Gane, Cejudo lauded the Frenchman for his excellent technical game plan on his YouTube channel, “His angles were on point. His distance was on point. His investment in the body to break somebody down to eventually get the knockout was on point.”
“What I can appreciate about Gane is that he invested so much of his work to the body to eventually go up then obviously Tai is kind of trying to catch his he’s just trying to win at the end of the day, If you have to play possum to land a big punch, I get it, but Ciryl Gane is the real deal, man.” Cejudo further added.
Triple C concluded by stating, “Somebody that can chop somebody down like that and eventually finish them. That’s the type of stuff that I like to see. Investment in the body, investment in legs, to eventually finish his opponent. Beautiful work.”
He further stated that he warned Jones after the fight to watch out for the Frenchman, “I immediately texted Jon Jones like, ‘Hey, man, watch out for this dude’. You have to really plan for this dude. Stipe Miocic who? Ciryl Gane is a big threat. I almost feel like looking at that last fight, he could be a bigger threat than Francis Ngannou for a guy like Jon Jones.”
Triple C also stated that regardless Jones is the King of Kings and with his addition, the division is the hottest right now.
