Ilia Topuria trolls Movsar Evloev after his win against Dan Ige at UFC Vegas 56

Ilia Topuria already has his eyes set on the undefeated featherweight Movsar Evloev.

Only hours ago Movsar Evloev took on #10 ranked Dan Ige in an intense featherweight matchup. The Russian featherweight comfortably got himself a unanimous decision victory to continue to gatekeep his undefeated record. The featherweight division is currently stacked and is full of killers. It is very unlikely that an undefeated fighter like Movsar goes unnoticed by his peers after a win.

Ilia Topuria reacted to the win of Movsar by posting a photoshopped image of him and Evloev. Despite being one of the most exciting fighters in the division, Evloev did not mention Ilia in his post-fight interview and called out UK fighter Arnold Allen in his interview. Topuria took a sly dig at the Russian with a meme on his Instagram story.

Topuria is coming off a stunning victory against Jai Herbert at UFC London. Ilia, like Movsar, is currently undefeated in his career and has a professional record of 12-0 in his career. Topuria is a fan favorite and has already a problem for the rest of the division.

Who would be next for Movsar Evloev?

Evloev has been fighting in the UFC since 2019 and has accumulated six wins inside the octagon. The 16-0 fighter has been dominant throughout his career and with a win over Dan Ige at UFC Vegas 56 last night, he could potentially enter the top 10 rankings of the UFC featherweight division.

In his post-fight Octagon interview, Movsar expressed his interest to fight Arnold Allen who is 9-0 in the UFC but the Suffolk fighter does not want to match up against someone ranked lower than him. However, Bryce Mitchell is another undefeated fighter in the UFC who ranks at #9. The most sensible matchup for both of these fighters to test themselves would be to fight each other.
