“On every single card,” James Krause tells how he makes more money than anything else by betting fights in MMA
James Krause
Former UFC welterweight and Glory MMA & Fitness head coach James Krause is one brilliant mind in MMA, whether in fighting, teaching, or even betting! Krause, who in his recent interview announced his retirement from the sport in competitive terms, was last seen in notoriety as he became the new head coach for interim-UFC flyweight champion Brandon Moreno. Under Krause’s guidance, Moreno defeated City Kickboxing’s Kai Kara-France via TKO to become the interim champion.
Though Krause has wrapped up his legacy in fighting with a record of 28-8 and 22 finishes and wins over the likes of Sam Stout, Sergio Moraes and Warlley Alves, his coaching has more years to come to an end, maybe it will take his last breath but for now, Krause is in peace with retiring from fighting and is crushing it as being the lead cornerman for the fighters. But besides that, Krause is also good at another aspect of MMA, something you would expect out of any hardcore fan of the world’s most brutal sport.
James Krause places bets on behalf of others as well, claims to be pretty good at it
In an interview with Ariel Helwani at THE MMA HOUR, Krause talks about his retirement, why he never wished to become a world champion but always wanted to train one, his take on the fighters’ union and much more. Krause then talks about being good at betting in fights accordingly to the odds and how this activity has become one of the premiere sources of his income.
“Oh, I bet on every single card just about every fight,” says Krause “I have a discord like 2,000 members in it and we crushed it last week, we destroyed it, I take over people’s accounts and play for them, I post the losses, you know myself on some accounts, but I do pretty well. I make more money on gambling in MMA than I do anything,” he concludes though he says coaching being his primary source of definitely surpasses betting.
What do you make of James Krause’s take on betting? Would you trust a mind like Krause to place bets on your behalf and double your money? Where do you put Krause amongst the most important minds in MMA right now? Who do you think will win between Krause’s newest pupil Brandon Moreno and current undisputed UFC flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo in their fourth title fight? Do you find batting a good sport or an act synonymous with gambling addiction?
