In another part of the world, Rodtang Jitumuagnon reigns over the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai division as the champion. He is one of the best kickboxers in the world and has 3 title defenses to his name.

Johnson is the best of the best in MMA which is why he only fights the best. Which is why he immediately entered the ONE Flyweight Grand Prix. Winning it, he became the ONE Flyweight Grand Prix. Everyone wondered what would happen if their paths eventually crossed. In 2022, that happened as DJ took on Rodtang Jitumuagnon.

The fight was fought under special rules with rounds 1 and 3 being fought under the ONE Muay Thai ruleset and 2 and 4 being fought under the ONE MMA ruleset. While discussing the fight with Demetrious on his podcast, Joe Rogan talked about how amazing Rodtang is, saying: “That motherf****r can take a shot like nobody. It’s weird, he stands there and lets guys punch him in the face. Who the f*ck does that at an elite level other than like Anderson (Silva) in his prime.”

Mighty Mouse was also full of praise for his opponent despite submitting Rodtang Jitmuangnon. DJ felt that he wouldn’t be able to knock out Rodtang. He said he had barely hit anyone as hard as he hit Rodtang. Rodtang’s chin and ferocious striking make him an absolute monster for whoever takes him on. It’s crazy that DJ not only survived the first round but actually came out on top.

He has quickly become a sensation in the world of combat sports. The viral video of him letting opponents punch him in the face quickly gained him a lot of notoriety and fame.

Well. starting with the obvious, Rodtang Jitmuangnon has an amazing chin. Whatever Joe Rogan said about him is 100% true. Rodtang can take an astounding amount of shots before he starts to wobble. These same punches knock out most other fighters. He is also a ferocious striker. In fact, his striking is only overshadowed by his durability and resilience. His hands are very fast and if given an opening, he will immediately pounce on the opportunity to suffocate his opponent with strikes till he wins.
