Joe Rogan may have unknowingly inspired the craziest knockout in UFC history. Joaquin Buckley recently went on the UFC commentator’s podcast and credited him for one of his YouTube videos, teaching the perfect technique to land side kicks.
Joe Rogan, the combat sports aficionado is claimed by Georges St-Pierre to have the perfect sidekick and roundhouse kick technique. The former UFC champ also sought the UFC commentator’s help to perfect his technique and this amazing moment was captured on video and uploaded to YouTube. The video was 11 years old and current UFC middleweight star Joaquin Buckley was only starting to fall in love with combat sports.
Joaquin Buckley in 2020 delivered one of the most brutal spinning kicks the UFC octagon had ever witnessed and went on to become one of the most-clipped in-fight moments in the history of the promotion. In the recent episode of JRE MMA Show #132, Buckley reveals that Joe Rogan and kickboxer Raymond Daniels were the main reasons for helping him master the technique of kicking.
“I seen one of your videos. For real, for real. You taught Georges St-Pierre how to throw a spinning back kick but you at first showed him how to throw the sidekick. I used to watch those videos over and over again and then it evolved when I saw Raymond Daniels,” said Buckley on the podcast talking to Rogan.
Joaquin Buckley created this epic knockout moment against Impa Kasanganay in his second UFC fight. The fighter knocked out his opponent with a jumping spinning kick in the second round to produce one of the best highlights ever.

UFC commentator Joe Rogan has insane technique on his kicks

If you’re new to the sport, you may only know Joe Rogan as a UFC commentator. But the MMA connoisseur is also a practitioner of mixed martial arts and is widely claimed to have one of the cleanest techniques when it comes to kicking. It has been a while since Rogan posted a demonstration of him kicking the bag.
However, there are several videos that are on the internet that show off the UFC commentator’s insane technique. Rogan also has experience in professional fighting as he competed in kickboxing for three fights and has been training in taekwondo for most of his life since his teenage days.
