If there’s anything UFC commentator Joe Rogan loves as much as mixed martial arts, it is fitness and nutrition. The popular podcast host is disappointed that Hollywood superstar Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has still not come clean about using steroids to attain his insane physique.

Joe Rogan is a huge fitness enthusiast and believes there is a lack of transparency in the fitness industry. Recently he had steroid expert, Derek from More Plates More Dates on his popular podcast and discussed the lies that are spewed by top celebrities who claim to be inspirational with their fitness but refuse to come clean about the steroids they used to get to the level they are currently.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who the UFC commentator respects a lot, is a huge inspiration to everyone around the world for his work ethic and fitness at the age of 50. Recently Rogan reacted to the Liver King apologizing after being exposed for using steroids and claiming to be “Natty”. “The Rock should come clean, right now. He should make a video in response to the Liver King video,” said Rogan joking about the Hollywood star with his guest.

“There’s not a chance in hell he’s clean. Not a chance in hell. As big as The Rock is at 50?” said Rogan claiming that the Hollywood star is also a user of steroids. Rogan believes that superstars like Dwayne Johnson who appear to inspire people to get into better shape and live a healthy lifestyle should take up the responsibility of being transparent about how they got to their elite fitness level.

“If you don’t talk about it, that’s one thing. But if you do talk about it, there’s a responsibility you have for the people listening to you,” Rogan added. Joe Rogan, the long-time UFC commentator has been very transparent about his steroid use and believes there is nothing wrong with it as long as an individual does not lie about using them. On the same episode of the podcast, Rogan also accused UFC superstar Conor McGregor of being under the influence of PEDs.

Steroids have become a major problem among athletes, including fighters. The world of mixed martial arts has come across several cases where fighters have been found guilty of using performance-enhancement drugs. Any use of enhancement in a sport should be heavily condemned but to use PEDs in a sport where one inflicts damage on another, is inexcusable.

Rogan once touched on steroids taking over the sport of mixed martial arts in one of his podcast episodes. “The UFC and MMA in general is a steroid epidemic,” said Rogan on his podcast back in 2015. “They’ve started this really stringent testing, and everybody is getting popped. They’re just getting popped left and right,” added the UFC commentator.

In the mid-2010s several top fighters like Jon Jones, Chael Sonnen, Vitor Belfort, Anderson Silva, and many others were flagged for using PEDs. According to Rogan at that time, around 50-60 percent of fighters were allegedly on steroids. As science develops, several reports arise of fighters getting the most-advanced form of drugs to enhance their training, physical condition, and their fighting inside the octagon.
