Joe Rogan (L0 discusses the incident of the activist glueing themselves at the Porsche Museum (R)
Climate change is a real problem, and activism is as important as any other thing in order to bring about change.
What is not acceptable is the fact that activists have taken to dire methods in order for them to be lent an ear. If you didn’t know, a couple of days prior, a Monet painting was destroyed by throwing mashed potatoes at it – the painting is worth $110 million. Before that, a Van Gogh painting was vandalised in London.
Now, as shared by Joe Rogan, a similar, albeit a little different issue has propped out. As apparent in the news article that he shared, a bunch of climate protestors glued themselves to the floor of the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, Germany. In the image, titled, “Climate protestors glue themselves to Porsche Museum but need to go potty”, four men can be seen sitting next to a Porsche 992.1 GT3.
Joe Rogan poked fun at the obvious gaff in the title, captioning his post, “These dopes probably just wanted to meet the girls that threw soup on the Van Gogh.”

This comes at a time when Corporate Social Responsibility has become a hot topic, so sports card manufacturers like Porsche have to tread even more slightly to not engender any anger. Although it is true that their flagship sports models are gas guzzlers – they also have made a commitment to switch to electric power.
However one reads into the situation, the obvious humour that can be extrapolated is unmissable, and Rogan latches onto that brilliantly.
