“He probably was not on coke” – Joe Rogan surprised by Conor McGregor’s respect towards Khabib Nurmagomedov’s crew
Joe Rogan and Conor McGregor
It is always a very rare sight when Conor McGregor decides to have a civil discourse with absolutely anybody on social media. However, it is more unlikely to find the Irishman shows respect toward one of his biggest rival’s peers.
Recently on the Joe Rogan Experience Podcast, Will Harris, a filmmaker made an appearance. Will became popular for his series “Anatomy of Fighter” which began to reach millions of people after the filmmaker’s documentary series on Conor’s biggest rival, Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Will and Joe Rogan went over a past argument between the filmmaker and Conor on Twitter. While Will defended his friend, Khabib following his retirement, Conor claimed that Khabib has no significant legacy in the sport because of his early retirement.
“Conor didn’t go crazy! I thought he was going to be like, ‘F**k you! Motherf**ker!” said Harris after his discourse with Conor ended in the most respectable way. Rogan looking at the past tweets joked, “He probably wasn’t doing coke.” McGregor is notorious for jumping to social media and going berserk.

Conor McGregor and Will Harris argue over Khabib Nurmagomedov’s legacy
Will Harris once posted a tweet regarding Khabib’s legacy. The filmmaker, who is a huge fan of the fighter and also the fighter’s background defended the Dagestani’s views on being “the greatest of all time”. McGregor, however, did not entirely agree with Will’s tweets and decided to talk about Nurmagomedov’s legacy.
McGregor was also very upset about the Russian’s comments on former featherweight champion, Jose Aldo. According to the Irishman, Khabib’s several weight misses, and pull-outs, do not put him on the GOAT list. McGregor also made fun of Nurmagomedov’s retirement fight and his legacy as a fighter.
This is one of the very few times that Conor decided to take the humble route on Twitter. This series of tweets have now been deleted by Conor. Nurmagomedov and McGregor still remain to be the most interesting and fierce rivals in the history of the sport. The two fought at UFC 229 and the Russian had the last laugh with a stunning victory.
