Former college wrestling phenomenon Bo Nickal is making his UFC debut at UFC 285. He is 3-0 as a Mixed Martial Artist and looks set to take the UFC Middleweight division by storm. He had a college wrestling record of 120 wins and only 3 losses. Wrestlers are known to transition smoothly to MMA better than other Martial Artists. Hence, Bo has a lot of hype coming into his debut performance.

Jon Jones is main eventing the UFC 285 PPV against Ciryl Gane for the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship. In the final stages of preparation, Bo and Jones met at the UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas, and it appears they had a pure wrestling match. Based on what Bo said, Jones could not “takedown” the college wrestling phenom.

The UFC Middleweight division does not have many wrestlers or grapplers, which might come as a major advantage for Bo Nickal over the rest of the competition. If he can improve his striking ability, he will become the most dangerous fighter in the division and can potentially capture the Middleweight title. His first opponent is Jamie Pickett, and Bo looks set to finish Pickett within three rounds.

Jones is making his heavyweight debut against Gane. This is also his first fight in 3 years, and he is preparing with Henry Cejudo for the upcoming fight. If Jones can defeat Gane, he looks set to be the undisputed GOAT of MMA.

UFC 285 is right around the corner and will be featuring the return of Jon Jones after 3 years to take on Ciryl Gane for the UFC Heavyweight Championship. He has a high chance of becoming the MMA GOAT if Jones defeats Gane to win the UFC Heavyweight Title.

The resume of Jon Jones as a Light Heavyweight is enough to solidify him as the GOAT. Cyril Gane is the best fighter in the Heavyweight division, only losing to former Champion Francis Ngannou in a closely contested fight. If he can defeat Cyril Gane, he will have an undisputed case as the MMA GOAT, as no other fighter has Jones’s achievement or accomplishment.  

UFC 285 also features the Women’s Flyweight Title Fight, with Valentina Shevchenko taking on Alexa Grasso. Shevchenko looks set to defend her crown and continue her brand of dominance. Grasso hopes to dethrone Shevchenko to become the new Flyweight Champion in UFC.
