Jon Jones has finally made his UFC comeback and it has been nothing but perfect. Jones fought Cyril Gane at UFC 285 for the vacant heavyweight title and won the fight. Gane couldn’t do anything and the fight was over as soon as Jones took him down to the mat and submitted him.

Jones proved yet again why he is widely considered the greatest UFC fighter of all time. As if it wasn’t enough, the fighter immediately asked to fight Stipe Miocic next. In a recent interview, Dana White was asked about the fight and was asked about a potential fight between Jones and Brock Lesnar.

While answering the unique question, White mentioned that he and Lesnar still have a great relationship after all these years. According to White, Lesnar UFC earned a lot of money and now he doesn’t have any plans to come back.

He said: “Brock and I have a great relationship, and we always have, but I don’t think Brock wants to fight anymore. Brock’s made a lot of money. He came into the UFC and won the heavyweight title. He’s got nothing left to prove. I don’t think he’d want to do it.”

While the idea of Brock Lesnar vs Jon Jones might look extremely tempting for fight fans, it’s not practical at all. Lesnar retired in 2016 and given that he’s 45 will never be able to get to fighting condition again.

If not Brock Lesnar vs Jon Jones, fight fans can still experience another super heavyweight bout between Jones and Stipe Miocic in the future. Miocic is often regarded as the GOAT of the UFC heavyweight division with multiple title wins and Jones has a great amount of respect for that.

Jones has shown his interest to fight Miocic for years now and finally, his wish is coming to be true. After his callout at UFC 285, Miocic immediately accepted it and the fight is settled to take place in the upcoming months.

In a recent tweet, Jones wrote: “In my head he’s better than he’s ever been. He’s definitely a lot more Experienced and well-rounded then Gane. This is an extremely important fight for both of our legacies, I must treat it as such.

Before the Heavyweight title fight, Jones repeatedly mentioned that he was fighting to solidify his place as the ‘Greatest of All Time’, and to achieve that, he has to beat opponents such as Miocic.
