Julianna Pena and Amanda Nunes stand 1-1 against each other, and with redemption on her mind, Pena is not ready to let Nunes fight someone else before she gets her rubber match.
The former Bantamweight champion previously had two bouts with Amanda Nunes, where the first fight at UFC 269 witnessed a huge upset when the American thrashed Nunes, whereas the sequel to the fight at UFC 277 went in a different direction and Nunes won her championship back.
It seems like the base for the third fight is already set, just a little push from the other party and UFC can give the fans a trilogy Pena, as well as the fans, have been waiting for.

After the huge upset loss at UFC 269 against Pena, the Brazilian fought back and reclaimed her title back. This time the fight started with back-and-forth blows from both sides. But as the match went on Nunes took control of the fight despite having Pena land a few blows, Nunes didn’t lose her ground and finished the match in a rather dominant fashion.
Fans then took to Twitter to react on the sequel, “The #Nunez vs #Peña fight was pure heart and lioness! But dude WOW!… that was just too much for me. Did we accept that because they were woman?? If that were men would we say it was brutal… hard.. YES!! Fans are now waiting for a third round as both the fighters have already lived up to the expectations of the fans. Pena has already shown interest in another go. Now, will UFC show the same enthusiasm about the fight? That’s a question to be answered.
