Khamzat Chimaev was seen training at the Tiger Muay Thai gym recently. Chimaev was seen sparring in this gym getting prepared for his next fight before it gets announced.
Khamzat had trained there for the Gilburt Burns fight, which was won by him after a total war. Chimaev prefers to change gyms according to his opponents, to get skills he deems necessary to win fights.
Khamzat Chimaev’s main gym: Allstars Training Center
Stockholm’s Allstars Training Center has its current superstar Khamzat Chimaev training with them along with his fellow welterweight partner Darren Till there. Chimaev spends time in the Allstars gym but also goes to other gyms when he needs to brush up on certain other skills during his camp.
Ever since the founder – Alexander Gustaffson, a Hall of Fame UFC fighter set up this gym, there have been multiple fighters to have come out of this gym and competed at the highest level. Fans can see that with the gym’s breakout star Khamzat Chimaev who beat Kevin Holland and Gilburt Burns to become the No. 3 ranked welterweight in UFC.
Khamzat Chimaev trains with Ramzan Kadyrov’s children
Khamzat Chimaev has continuously been seen training with Ramzan Kadyrov’s children. Ramzan Kadyrov is a Chechnyan dictator who has been accused of multiple human rights violations ranging from disappearances and assassinations to purging members of the LGBTQ+ community.
The UFC welterweight star was seen training with Kadyrov‘s teenage sons on his recent trip to UAE. It could also be seen in their social media posts. They had trained alongside other fighters of the Allstars Training Center from Sweden.
This wasn’t the first time he was being seen with them. Previously he had posted photos of him sparring with them along with their sons and also during the UFC 280. Kadyrov has sanctions on him by the US government that forbid US citizens to do any kind of business with him.
Khamzat Chimaev seen at Tiger Muay Thai gym
In a recent Twitter post by the Tiger Muay Thai gym, they welcomed Khamzat Chimaev back to their gym who was there previously for the Gilburt Burns fight. many fighters like Petr Yan and Alexander Volkanovski have trained in this gym during their fight camp.
Fans started noticing the fighter in Phuket, Thailand during his camp for the Gilburt Burns fights. Like his fellow UFC fighters, he also went there to train and spar and get rid of any inconsistencies in his fight style.
He is back there to train before his next opponent is announced. Seems like the training at this gym paid off when he won his fight after a total war between him and Burns. For whatever reason he might be back, fans love to see Khamzat Chimaev fight and with his recent rise in the ranks – chances are he will be given another ranked fighter as an opponent.
