If you are a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt fighting in the UFC, you better have the skills to back it up because Khamzat Chimaev and his coach are coming to “expose” all the fake black belts on the roster.

Khamzat Chimaev has been on a phenomenal run in the UFC. His dominance inside the octagon is a result of talent and hard work. Chimaev has surrounded himself with a team that pushes him to the fullest and the Chechen’s Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coach, Alan “Finfou” Nascimento is one of them.

Chimaev is currently on a 6-fight winning streak since his introduction to the UFC and has fought four BJJ black belts. In his last four fights, Chimaev has won 4 black belts and only Gilbert Burns has come close to giving the phenom a challenge in the course of his win. Gerald Meerschaert, Li Jingliang, and Kevin Holland, who hold black belts of their own have been finished in the very first round.

“I’m making Khamzat expose all the fake black belts in Brazilian jiu-jitsu that are in the MMA scenario. Why? Because nowadays, people just get belts as they go to McDonald’s. They don’t do the job. He just got his purple belts. How many black belts in his career has he finished?” said Chimaev’s coach in a recent Block Asset video.
