“USADA scared him!”- Marlon Vera isn’t concerned if Henry Cejudo ‘SKIPS’ the line

Marlon Vera and Henry Cejudo

After a vicious KO of the two-time former champ, Marlon Vera is now planning to make his case for the title. However, he wouldn’t be bothered if Cejudo skips the line or if the UFC wants him to fight Henry Cejudo. Chito proved his worth at UFC San Diego once again by Knocking out former two-time Bantamweight champion and UFC vet Dominick Cruz.

Although, currently the division’s top-tier fighters are scheduled to fight one another, Chito certainly made a case for the title. With two vicious front kick KO’s in his last three outings and piecing apart Rob Font has certainly made him a superstar. Vera who fought in Cruz’s backyard last weekend was received very well by fans.

Marlon Vera is now on a 4 fight win streak after his recent victory. He has defeated two former champions and a top prospect in the last three outings. Chito will now be aiming at getting the title shot as he believes that performance matters more than rankings.

Unlike the majority of the MMA Community, former champion Henry Cejudo wasn’t impressed by Chito’s performance last weekend. Triple C even stated that Vera wasn’t decisive in his approach and Cruz was piecing Chito apart and just got caught.

In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani at the MMA Hour, Chito discussed his performance last weekend, people’s reaction to his win, the state of the division, when he’s ready to fight next as well as the possibility of fighting Henry Cejudo.

When asked what happens Henry Cejudo gets the title shot instead of him, Chito responds by stating that he wouldn’t be bothered by that. He also added that Triple C was a former champ that never lost his title and just retired so it makes sense. Chito also stated that, unlike many fighters who moan about not getting the title shot first, he’s a professional.

Chito stated, “Yeah, he can come back too, he can get it. And since he’s a former champ, he never lost the belt he just retired maybe because USADA ‘scared’ him, who knows? but you if he comes back and he skips the line that wouldn’t bother me. Like really why would that bother me?”

“I feel like these guys get so crazy like you know just were adults and they really bitch about, Oh! you’re retired Oh you’re not fighting, like F**K! These guys are f****ng Pu**ies, aren’t they? this is F***ing fighting boys, this is not some Disney channel.” He added.

Chito further stated that if Cejudo decides to come back he is willing to throw down with the former champ, “If he comes back he comes back too,he can get it. Anybody can give it to him. I can defiantly give it to him. So well see what happens, keep it simple keep it real!”
