Robert Whittaker-Michael Bisping- Marvin Vettori
As part of the official commentary team for UFC Paris, Michael Bisping has already made his pick for what will go down as the war on UFC’s first-ever event in the European nation of France. Bisping is the former UFC middleweight champion who was the first British UFC champion as well as the first fighter with a major disability of losing one functioning eye to have become a world champion. Bisping is known for his wins over the likes of Anderson Silva, Dan Henderson, Cung Le, Luke Rockhold and many more.
As UFC’s official broadcaster, Bisping will be commentating for this weekend at UFC Paris where in the main event, former interim-UFC heavyweight champion Ciryl Gane will be fighting on his home soil against Australia’s Tai Tuivasa. In the co-main event, former UFC title challenger Marvin Vettori will be facing former UFC champion Robert Whittaker in the middleweight division. Another fight to look out for is Nassourdine Imavov going against Joaquin Buckley. Also, fan favourite Charles Jourdain returns to the Octagon as well against Nathaniel Wood.
Michael Bisping says that the Robert Whittaker-Marvin Vettori middleweight clash will be “f**king sensational”
In one of the videos on his Youtube channel, Bisping talked elaborately about the co-main event taking place between Whittaker and Vettori. Bisping elaborated about the careers of both the UFC fighters so far and how far they’ve come. Bisping was repeatedly coming to the conclusion that this fight will be awarded the “Fight of the Night” come this weekend and the UFC’s first-ever fight card in France might receive a huge load of cheers from the audience.
“I am telling you right now, that will be Fight of the Night,” says Bisping “The entire building is going to be on their feet. In the stadium, they’re all going to be losing their minds… the fight’s gonna be f**king sensational…you’ve got to tune in to watch this fight because you’ve got to badass men that have got great skills, that don’t get tired, that don’t gas out, where the heart on their sleeves & they live by the sword they die by the sword…” concluded Bisping.
What do you make of Bisping complimenting both the fighters and guaranteeing the MMA fans pure entertainment out of the clash of the most elite middleweights after the UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya? Who do you think wins between Robert Whittaker and Marvin Vettori? Where does the winner of the fight go next? Both are seasoned strikers with voluminous striking and slick wrestling to get back on their feet from the bottom.
