After securing the win over Alex Pereira, Israel Adesanya is back in the spotlight. He defeated Pereira by knockout in the second round with 39 seconds remaining.

Israel Adesanya entered the UFC arena in the year 2018, he defeated Rob Wilkinson via. TKO. Within one year he secured a victory over Robert Whittaker and won the UFC middleweight belt. Since then he has defended the belt 5 times and secured victories over the fighters like Yoel Romero, Marvin Vettori, Paulo Costa,  Robert Whittaker, and Jared Cannonier.

But “The Last Stylebender” lost the belt to his kickboxing viral Alex Pereira at UFC 281 via. TKO. Later on, Israel got his revenge on Alex Pereira where he won the belt again by beating him via. KO at UFC 287.

Recently Adesanya received honors from Ambassador Anderson N. Madubike, High Commissioner of Nigeria. The achievement he received after getting winning the championship Match at UFC 287. This made Nigerian people proud and they consider him an inspiration.

The Nigerian-born New Zealander Tweeted the picture of the letter with the Nigerian Flag, An Eagle, and emojis of sparkle. The Ambassador of the Nigerian High Commission gave him the honor and congratulated him on behalf of the citizens of Nigeria.

They praised Israel for winning the fight Last Sunday and securing the title which eventually become the reason for pride. Israel’s birthplace is Lagos, Nigeria and he went on for taekwondo training at the school. But later on, Israel’s parents moved to New Zealand for their children’s better education.

At the age of 18, Israel Adesanya started kickboxing training and as years passed at the age of 21 he joined Eugene Bareman. There he was training with UFC stars like Dan Hooker and Alexander Volkanovski. When he was in kickboxing he was 2-0 against Alex Periera and at UFC he lost one already.
