Dana White reveals his Top 5 UFC fighters
Khabib Nurmagomedov wouldn’t be too happy if he got to know that UFC President Dana White rated his fierce rival, Conor McGregor over him in a UFC all-time list. The UFC boss gives a very controversial answer which could have the MMA fanbase in splits over White’s Top 5 Fighters of All-Time list.
Dana White is not one to shy away from speaking what he has on his mind. The UFC President has also not held back his words against any of the fighters that he employs on the roster. Dana isn’t ashamed to say that he has a few favorites from the roster and Conor McGregor is undoubtedly one of them. Conor is the biggest mixed martial arts star the world has ever seen and he sure did bring a lot of success to Dana’s company.
Dana might have made the right choice in bringing McGregor to the UFC but there is no denying that the Irishman took the company to unseen levels of height during his career. Another fighter that has one of the biggest fanbases in the world is Khabib Nurmagomedov. The Dagestani fighter is considered the greatest lightweight fighter of all time and even the most dominant fighter to grace the UFC octagon by many. However, Dana doesn’t think so highly of the Russian fighter.

Dana White reveals his Top 5 all-time UFC list
Recently Dana made an appearance on GQ Sports‘ YouTube channel as he takes over the internet and responds to fan questions across different social platforms. When there’s a Q&A session with the UFC boss, one can best believe White will give unfiltered answers. During the segment where Dana checks out some fan questions on YouTube, he answers the question, “Dana, what fighters are on your Top 5 all time UFC list!?”

Given that Khabib and Dana have a very good relationship, you would assume he puts the Dagestani in his Top 5 but Dana’s answer truly comes off as a shocker. “Jon Jones, Anderson Silva, Ronda Rousey, Conor McGregor, GSP,” said Dana as he named his 5 top fighters in the history of the promotion. Khabib has an undefeated record and has never been in a close fight.
Dana continued saying, “There’s so many other people who should be on the list. [Kamaru] Usman should be on the list.” When Nurmagomedov retired from fighting he was the pound-for-pound best. Putting Ronda Rousey and Conor McGregor make sense if you talk about the kind of influence they had over the sport and how they helped to build it. However, there is no doubt that Dana will hear an earful about not putting ‘The Eagle’ on his Top 5 list.
