Recently on a podcast, Jamahal Hill revealed the story behind his nickname. A famous pop star was the main inspiration for his nickname ‘Sweet Dreams.’ The person responsible for it is R&B singer and songwriter, Beyonce. This story managed to receive hilarious reactions from fans.
When asked about the nickname, Hill said, “They gave me the form that you fill out with your name and fight name, I ain’t got one.” “Then I was listening the Beyonce song,” referencing the song ‘Sweet Dreams’ by Beyonce. “You can be a sweet dream,” hums Jamahal Hill as he recalls the incident.
Hill later said that the song playing in the background was the inspiration for his nickname. ‘Sweet Dreams’ recollects this moment and considers himself to be lucky that the song was played in the background while he was filling out the form.

“Welcome can’t wait to see you @alexpoatanpereira,” Jamail Hill captioned the video. Soon after it, ‘Poatan’ had watched the video and left a comment under it. “I am coming and will kick your door in ??,” said Alex Pereira.
Fans are excited to witness a fight between the two. With Pereira’s move to light heavyweight, he is set to face tough contenders in the division. Jamahal Hill won his previous fight against Thiago Santos via knockout in round 4.
