Upcoming UFC events of 2023: From Teixeira vs Hill to Makhachev vs Volkanovski, every fight lined up

Brace yourselves for some amazing violence in 2023! UFC events will be back with a bang in the new year and there are some huge fights lined up for the fans of violence to be entertained by.

2022 was a massive year for the promotion. The fans witnessed some of the biggest twists and the most unpredictable moments in the promotion’s history. Some amazing comebacks and changes in the pecking order across all weight classes in 2022 leave us with some amazing matchups for the upcoming year. 2023 will see new champions make their first title defenses and some exciting contenders fight for the belt.

The first pay-per-view event of the year is UFC 283. The light heavyweight division will have a new champion as Glover Teixeira takes on Jamahal Hill. UFC will travel to Brazil for the 38th time in its history and for the first time since the pandemic. Islam Makhachev will defend his newly attained lightweight belt against the pound-for-pound best, Alexander Volkanovski in the Aussie backyard at UFC 284. After the several upsets, and comebacks we witnessed in 2022, brace yourselves for champions to be dethroned and underdogs to triumph.
