Ahead of his speculated UFC return, two-time former heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic has called out the winner of Jon Jones vs Ciryl Gane at UFC 285. After his heavyweight loss to Francis Ngannou at UFC 260, the former champion has been inactive for 18 months and is aiming at a return in July.
Stipe Miocic is the greatest heavyweight in UFC history and has been inducted into the International Sports Hall of Fame (ISHOF) since 2022. On his induction into the ISHOF, the heavyweight got the chance to meet bodybuilding legend and actor, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Stipe Miocic is not only an MMA fighter but also a firefighter and fire responder paramedic in the state of Ohio. During his meeting with Arnold Schwarzenegger, the former champion was greeted and congratulated by the bodybuilding legend. “I’m a big fan of yours. Love watching all your fights,” the bodybuilding legend told Stipe.
“You have been entertaining me for years. With the big punches, Boom Boom Boom! Just fantastic. So targeted,” the terminator added. Stipe Miocic is currently aiming at a return after his recent interview reacting to the announcement of Jones vs Gane at UFC 285.

A throwback to Stipe Miocic’s incredible UFC run ahead of possible return in July
Since his loss to Francis Ngannou at UFC 260, former two-time UFC Heavyweight champion, Stipe Miocic has teased a probable return in July after the announcement of Jones vs Gane at UFC 285.
Stipe Miocic is a paramedic first responder and firefighter in the Ohio State Department and a top-of-the-food-chain UFC Heavyweight. The fighter suffered a devastating TKO loss to former UFC HW Champion, Francis Ngannou.
In his recent interview with Ariel Helwani on the MMA Hour podcast, Stipe Miocic revealed that a fight with Jon Jones was offered to him by the UFC, however, the promotion later turned to Ciryl Gane as Jones’ opponent in return fight for the HW championship.
In his recent tweet after UFC 285 announcement, Miocic did, however, express his interest in fighting the winner of Jones vs Gane.
