MMA veteran Stephen Thompson is still open to adding new techniques to his arsenal. The top welterweight fighter and fan favorite recently tried to perfect the one-inch punch technique popularized by Bruce Lee.
Stephen Thompson has one of the best YouTube channels among all UFC stars. The elite kickboxer, apart from entertaining inside the octagon, is always working to put out great content for the fans on his social media platforms. In one of his YouTube videos, ‘Wonderboy’ and his friends try to beat Bruce Lee’s record for the one-inch punch.
Wonderboy Thompspn’s inspiration for this video is the famous video of Bruce Lee performing the one-inch punch technique on legendary Joe Lewis. The video shows the Chinese global superstar sitting Lewis down with his punch which shocked the entire world.
Thompson and his friends take turns on the PowerKube machine to test out who gets the hardest punch of them all. Thompson also discusses how the one-inch technique could prove to be useful when he is in clinches with his opponents inside the octagon. Don’t be surprised if the Wonderboy pulls out a one-inch punch in one of his upcoming UFC fights.

Stephen Thompson put on a striking masterclass in his last outing
“Wonderboy” Thompson was returning to the cage after a year in 2022 against Kevin Holland. The kickboxer was looking to put on a show for the fans in Orlando. Both Holland and Thompson were determined to put on a striking fest for the fans in the area and they sure did.
Coming off a two-fight losing streak, Thompson couldn’t have asked for a better win at UFC Fight Night: Orlando. The former title contender stood up the entire fight with Holland and put on a striking masterclass. Kevin Holland, being the fan-pleaser, decided to not take the fight to the ground and continued to entertain fans with a standup contest.

‘Wonderboy’ ended up winning the fight via TKO in the fourth round. Stephen Thompson is now 17-6 in his professional career. Thompson is ready to fight again and fans await the official fight announcement.
