Rich people and their interests with unique antics! Dana White was making a whole antique room with a sword collection, he wanted to buy a samurai’s katana from the 1600s. The owner didn’t want to sell due to its sheer value.
Rick, from Pawn Stars, had gotten his hands on a katana that was appraised to be at least between $35,000-$40,000. He had sent it to Japan to have it polished and appraised. After knowing the value of it, he decided he didn’t want to sell it – EVER.
Dana who went into the store wanted to buy a sword to complete his weapon’s room. He had seen a few swords and finally when presented with THE sword – he wanted it. He offered to buy the sword for $30,000 and the rest of the swords for another $30,000. Rick did NOT like the fact that his sword was sold. Dana went on to buy another sword for $10,000 in replacement of it.
The common folk rarely understand the obsession of the rich with antiques. But Dana White went above and beyond with his weapon’s room. The swords happened to be very valuable and if Dana takes care of them, they turn out to be quite a bit of investment.

Dana White received backlash for his $250,000 cash gift to one of the Nelk Boys
White isn’t just interested in buying rare and costly items for himself but is also generous when it comes to gifting others. White gave a $250,000 cash gift to one of the Nelk Boys’, Kyle for his birthday.
Even though it was just a gift for one of his friends, he received backlash for the gift to one of the Nelk Boys. Among claims of less fighter pay, people criticized him for such a hefty gift. “Mind your own f**king business”, Dana said.
It is true that the fighter pay may be less, but Dana can do whatever he wants to do. People shouldn’t have to worry about what he does in his time. According to him, the gift he sent to Kyle wasn’t even close to the help he received in return from him. Dana is so rich that he can do whatever he wants without having to worry about people’s opinions.
