A YouTuber took the opportunity of meeting UFC star Alex Pereira and prank him. In fact, he made a silly joke that got ‘Poatan’ to smile during the awkward meet-up.
The YouTuber named Max Caruso went up to Alex Pereira in the fan meet and greet held at Maribyrnong, Australia. The Brazilian fighter isn’t somebody who giggles and laughs at everything and anything. He is often seen as stone-cold and serious, with moments of straight-faced humor. Therefore when the young Youtuber went up to him and started saying, “ Mr. Pereira, I’m a virgin. I don’t get p*ssy,” all you could see was a look of confusion on the face of the former UFC Middleweight Champion.
Pereira seemed confused at the awkward interaction and just wanted to get over it. He took the picture with Caruso and bid him goodbye with a confused yet amused look on his face. The YouTuber stepped back, still repeating his line in broken Portuguese. Later, Caruso waited for Pereira in the parking lot as he and his entourage departed, still shouting out, “Mr Pereira, I don’t get p*ssy.” “Help. Help”.
Cameras caught Pereira breaking out a restrained smile as they passed by the strange young fan. Alex Pereira has an active YouTube channel where he updates fans on his day-to-day happenings. Pereira’s cameraman could be seen documenting the unusual interaction and Max Caruso may soon feature on Poatan’s YouTube channel. Netizens broke out laughing as they witnessed this unusual interaction between Pereira and a YouTuber on social media.

Netizens were left in splits as the clip made its way through social media. Many fans appreciated the harmless nature of the prank and commended the YouTuber for making an attempt to make the otherwise stone-cold ‘Poatan’ smile. Here are some fan reactions from Twitter:
Alex Pereira lost his UFC Middleweight Title to long-time rival Israel Adesanya at UFC 287. Instead of competing to claim back the title in a highly demanded trilogy fight, Pereira decided to step up to a new challenge. Pereira moved up the weight class to the Light-Heavyweight division.
He will now face Jan Blachowicz at UFC 291 for his debut fight in the weigh-class. Blacowicz ranks #3 on the UFC Light-Heavyweight rankings and was the former UFC Light-Heavyweight Champion. It will be interesting to see how Alex Pereira fares in this new category of his professional career.
