The Middleweight fight of UFC Vegas 31’s fight card will feature the fight between the five times Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World champion, Rodolfo Vieira and Dana White’s contender series 2 fame, Dustin Stoltzfus.
Vieira is coming into this fight with a shocking submission loss in his last fight against Anthony Hernandez on UFC 258 and Stoltzfus will be stepping into this fight with a loss against Kyle Daukaus on UFC 255.
Round 1: Vieira throws the first jab to start the fight, followed by a one-two combo. Stoltzfus traded big punches with Vieira and he scored again with a left hand. Stoltzfus landed some nice punches and Vieira lands two straight jabs. Stoltzfus landed a firey combination followed by a front kick. He rushes with a flying knee and Vieira lands on the canvas just as the horn sounds.
Round 2: Stoltzfus landed a jab to start the fight, Vieira changed the level and secured a takedown. Stoltzfus quickly found his way out to come to his legs again. Jabs traded between both as they stand. Stoltzfus lands a right hand, Vieira lands a right hand of his own. Stoltzfus busted uptight and Vieira lands a low kick just as the round ends.

Round 3: Stoltzfus came out aggressive but Vieira scored a clean takedown and Stoltzfus landed some shots from the top before standing again. Vieira takes his back and sneaks on the top. Incredible transition to the top and he locked in for a rear-naked choke. Stoltzfus taps and there comes the win for Vieira.
