WATCH: $180 Million worth PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe spotted in the Ferrari garage at Spanish GP
Kylian Mbappe made a surprise appearance at the Spanish GP as he heaped his support for Ferrari.
With the Spanish GP slated to start within a few hours’ time at the Circuit dé Barcelona-Catalunya, the celebrity guests have started arriving at the F1 paddock. The weekend has been a busy one for the racetrack in the capital city as it has already seen the likes of Neymar Jr. and some other footballers pay a visit. During the Qualifying for the Barcelona race on Saturday, lead striker from Barca, Robert Lewandowski was spotted hanging out at the Ferrari garage. But for the Main Race, the Scuderia has yet another football star present at their pits.
Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe has gotten his access into the Ferrari garage at the Spanish GP. Pictures of the French striker speaking to fellow countryman Frederic Vasseur, the Team Principal of Ferrari, went viral on the internet. For his F1 paddock visit, Mbappe donned a pair of shades with a black-and-white polo shirt and black pants, and he sported his signature buzzcut.
While Mbappe has devoted his allegiance to Ferrari, current Championship leader Red Bull played host to Chelsea’s Mason Mount, Recce James, and Ben Chilwell. Other footballers who were present included Sean Gnabry and Trent Alexander-Arnolt. Noticeably missing from the guestlist was Gerard Pique, the Spanish defender who had a publicized breakup with Shakira recently. While Shakira was seen at the Miami GP, her estranged partner was not spotted at the race in his home country.

Max Verstappen’s supporters join Carlos Sainz’s for a massive Mexican wave
While Kylian Mbappe and the other footballers are quite familiar with the Mexican wave, the fans who have poured in to watch the Spanish GP made the same gesture for the F1 racers as well. With Max Verstappen’s supporters joining forces with Carlos Sainz’s fans at the grandstands, they made a huge Mexican wave to bid good luck to their favorite drivers ahead of the Spanish GP.
While the Spaniards have geared up for a great spectacle at the Circuit dé Barcelona-Catalunya, if there is one person who does not feel too happy about the upcoming race, then it is Charles Leclerc. The Monegasque got a P19 finish in the qualis yesterday, and is set to start his race in Spain from the very last position on the grid due to a penalty. Now, it remains to be seen if the Tifosis’ prayers are answered and Charles manages to seize a top 10 finish, or if he retires midway with another weekend of disappointment for Ferrari.
