Reigns and Lesnar

Brock Lesnar is one of the most dominant Superstar on the WWE roster currently. 2022 has been quite a busy year for him so far. The Beast Incarnate kicked off the year with winning the WWE Championship. He held the title for nearly a month before losing the title to Bobby Lashley at the Royal Rumble.

But the Beast Incarnate managed to redeem himself on the same night – as he entered and won the Men’s Royal Rumble match. Post this he made his intentions clear and announced that he will be going after Roman Reigns at the Wrestlemania. At the Elimination Chamber he put up another dominant performance and managed to win back the WWE Championship.

Before he shifted his focus to the Wrestlemania Sunday main-event match, Paul Heyman put another obstacle on his way. Heyman announced that Brock Lesnar will put his WWE title on the line at the Madison Square Garden event. His mystery opponent was announced to be Austin Theory!

As expected, the Beast Incarnate squashed Austin Theory within a really short span of time. But what followed was nothing short of brutal. Universal Champion Roman Reigns showed up and attacked the WWE Champion. Some strong shots from the steel chair took Lesnar down.

But the Tribal Chief wasn’t done. The steel steps came in and much more brutal assault followed. Brock Lesnar was busted open and started bleeding. Reigns stood tall over Lesnar and announced, “BROCK LESNAR, ACKNOWLEDGE ME.” You can check out the full video here:

Prior to the WWE live event at the Madison Square Garden, Wrestlemania Sunday main event was advertised as a Champion vs Champion Title Unification match. But there was no clarity on whether this was final as both the titles were put on the line at the live event. There was a possibility that the main event could change.

Roman Reigns successfully defended his title against Seth Rollins. On the other hand, Brock Lesnar managed to retain his title against Austin Theory. With their respective wins, both the Superstars are now guaranteed to walk into Wrestlemania 38 as Champions.
