Drew McIntyre has been one of the biggest WWE Superstars of the Thunderdome Era. His legendary run in WWE began at WWE Royal Rumble 2020, when he eliminated WWE Champion Brock Lesnar outlasted 29 opponents and even won the match to earn a right to main event WWE Wrestlemania 36.
After feuding against the “Beast Incarnate” McIntyre dethroned Brock Lesnar as the WWE Champion, kicking off his first-ever reign as the top Champion. Unfortunately, his reigned kicked off in an empty WWE Performance Center and his entire reign was limited to the Thunderdome. McIntyre never got a chance to hear the live fans cheer for him.
Drew McIntyre was drafted to Smackdown during the WWE Draft 2021. While he has not gone straight after the Universal Championship, he is slowly being built as a dominant force on the Blue brand. Since the last three weeks, the Scottish Warrior has been issuing open challenges and dominating his opponents. Reportedly, he is being built as an opponent for Roman Reigns.
Considering how big a star McIntyre has transformed into, in the last couple of years, he has been making several public appearances. Recently it was announced that the Scottish Warrior will be presenting an award at MTV EMAs. The event stands for MTV Europe Music Awards 2021 and is considered to be one of the biggest global music award shows of the year.

Drew McIntyre will represent Team Smackdown at WWE Survivor Series 2021
WWE is gearing up for their final of their “Big Four” events of the year – WWE Survivor Series 2021. This is the only night of the year, where both the main roster brands of WWE collide against each other for brand supremacy. Champions from both the brands collide against each other in Champion vs Champion matches.
In addition to this, the event also features a Men’s and Women’s 5-on-5 Elimination Tag Team match. Drew McIntyre will be representing Team Smackdown this year along with Jeff Hardy, Sami Zayn, Happy Corbin and King Woods.
