American professional wrestler and actor Randal Keith Orton is famously known by his ring name ‘Randy Orton’ in the WWE universe. Orton is currently enjoying his reign as Raw Tag Team Champion with his partner Matt Riddle. Has Randy Orton won a Royal Rumble match ever?
The answer is ‘Yes’. Orton is a multiple-time Royal Rumble match-winner. Orton won the rumble match in 2007 held on 25th January 2009, at the Joe Louis Arena, Michigan. Orton and Triple H were the last two competitors to stand inside the ring at the end. Orton eliminated Triple H by performing a clothesline on him and thereby throwing him over the top rope.
Randy Orton has also stood tall as the last man in the ring in the 2017 Royal Rumble event. Randy Orton countered Reigns’ spear and performed his finisher ‘RKO’ on The Big Dog. He then picked Roman up and threw him over the top rope to win for the Royal Rumble for the second time.
