Is there an acrimony between WWE and The Rock over WrestleMania 39?
Many fans were expecting for The Rock to finally lace a pair of boots and face his cousin at WrestleMania in Los Angeles. However, owing to his Hollywood projects and XFL duties, The Great One decided to pass on the offer.

Once again this year, The Rock declined an offer to battle Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. After keeping WWE interested about his say for months, the People’s Champ turned up snubbing them. The former World Champion presumably informed the concerned officials about his inability to get in ring shape by the time. So being said, he voluntarily turned down the dram showdown.
During the Royal Rumble press conference this year, WWE CCO Triple H was asked about potential plans for The Rock considering WrestleMania is Hollywood themed this year. Initially joking about the reports of his out-of-shape body, Hunter admitted that Rock is incredibly busy. The 14-time World Champion kept the door open as always for The People’s Champ to come in & electrify everybody whenever he gets the time.
Despite of the assurance and calmness of Triple H, some fans assumed that there maybe some heat between the two parties. Obviously, after see-sawing this much, anyone can grow in animosity. But now, a new report has emerged, clearing the air between any such feelings between WWE & The Rock.
According to Louis Dangoor in an exclusive interview with WrestleVotes, there’s no bad blood as such. In fact, WWE is well aware of Black Adam star’s ridiculously packed schedule. As a result, they’ve kept the door open if ‘Dwayne Johnson’ once again craves to be The Rock for a match at WrestleMania 40. The report further iterated how that unrealistically hyped match on Twitter was never actually the plan set ‘in-stone’.

Can The Rock still make an appearance at WrestleMania 39?
One would still imagine whether The Brahma Bull still makes it to Los Angeles. That’s obviously not for a match, however, the Attitude Era cornerstone can just grab the mic and pump everyone’s adrenaline. That would be more than enough to wipe-off any sourness among the fans for The Rock’s unavailability to wrestle. Him being the WrestleMania host might’ve been the perfect case scenario, but that doesn’t appears to be the case.
Currently, the creative is focusing on culminating the stories which have been boiling for months. One such tale is between Edge & The Judgment Day. The main-event however includes Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. The American Nightmare needs to gather this soul and unleash his best performance till date to derail the 900+ day Undisputed Title reign of The Tribal Chief.
