“Becky can have a rematch at Wrestlemania,” Liv Morgan makes bold claims ahead of WWE Day 1

Liv Morgan has been with WWE since 2014, but she has been receiving massive push from the company recently. Morgan initially made sporadic appearances on NXT, before she was promoted to the main roster in 2017. She was a part of a stable named The Riott Squad which featured Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan too.
Post the release of Riott and Logan from the company, Morgan kicked off her singles run with the company. Initially, her run wasn’t quite impressive as a singles competitor. But closer to the Survivor Series, the company started pushing her extensively. In fact, she defeated Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, Queen Zelina and Carmella in a Fatal 5-Way match to become the No.1 Contender for the Raw Women’s Championship.
Liv Morgan collided against Becky Lynch for the Raw Women’s title in the main event of a Raw episode. The Man managed to retain the title, after using the ring ropes to assist her pinfall! This led to a rematch being announced for WWE Day 1. While has been a Champion since she returned at WWE Summerslam 2021, Morgan seems confident about dethroning her.
Morgan recently appeared for an interview with Shakiel Mahjouri of CBS Sports where she went as far as saying that she will give a rematch to Lynch at Wrestlemania, after winning the title at Day 1. “I’d love to maybe give Becky Lynch another shot at her title, which is going to be my title, starting 2022, and I will give her a rematch because I’m honorable. I want to be a defending champion. I’m sure she’s going to be so annoying after I beat her. She’s going to try to, you know, storm on my parade. So I’ll just say that now, Becky, you can have a rematch at WrestleMania, I got you girl.”
Can Liv Morgan win at WWE Day 1?
The Raw Women’s Championship match at WWE Day 1 is arguably the biggest match of Liv Morgan’s career. This might be her last chance to win the elusive title. Considering the massive Heel that Lynch is, she will be going to any lengths once again to retain her title.
The only chance that Morgan has to win the title, is if WWE has planned a massive surprise for the fans. Reportedly, the company has planned to make Day 1 one of the major events of the year. Hence, they would need not only one but several shocking moments to make it a memorable events of the year.
