WWE Money in the Bank Ladder match stipulations have become so popular with the fans that WWE now hosts a separate pay-per-view for Money in the Bank. Apart from the regular Championship matches at the PPV, WWE Money in the Bank also hosts two ladder matches.
One each for the men’s and women’s division. Several WWE Superstars participate in a ladder match to get hold of the MITB briefcase that hangs high above the ring. The briefcases contains a contract which gives the winner the right to challenge for any WWE Championship.
One of the most impressive performers in the Money in the Bank matches has been Dolph Ziggler. On the WWE roster itself, Ziggler has always been an underrated Superstar. Ziggler, with 6 appearances in such matches, has always impressed the fans.
With 6 appearances, Ziggler has the second most Money in the Bank ladder match appearances, after Kane and Kofi Kingston, who have 7 appearances each. Ziggler’s first appearance came way back in 2010 and his final appearance was in 2017.

Even with six appearances in the WWE Money in the Bank ladder matches, Ziggler has managed to win the prestigious briefcase only once. In the 2012 MITB ladder match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Ziggler emerged victorious over the likes of – Christian, Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow, Sin Cara, Tensai, Tyson Kidd and Santino Marella.
Before he could cash in the contract, Ziggler even defended the contract in a Career vs. Contract match against Chris Jericho, and then again against John Cena in a Ladder match at WWE TLC. After holding and defending the contract for 267 days, Ziggler finally cashed it in successfully against Alberto Del Rio.
