Fans love to watch Kevin Owens on screen. The Prizefighter has impressed the WWE Officials a lot with his performances. Owens is known for his ‘never backing down attitude’.
Kevin Owens became the Universal Championship in 2016. But things went upside down in 2017. The Prizefighter lost the Universal Championship to Goldberg at Fastlane. Following this, Goldberg faced the Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar, at WrestleMania 33.
WWE Hall of Famer Road Dogg, recently revealed Brock Lesnar didn’t want to share the ring with Owens. On his recent appearance on the ‘Oh You Didn’t Know‘ Podcast, the legend claimed that Lesnar wanted to face other superstars, but not Owens.
“I really want to clarify, it isn’t that he had no intention of wanting to work with Jinder. It’s that he really thought he could have a better match with AJ. So, I just wanted that to be clear. Look, I don’t think I’ve ever heard of Brock saying I’m not working with that guy. Well, I did, I did hear that with Kevin Owens, but only him.”
Kevin Owens is set for his second appearance at WarGames
Triple H introduced the unforgiving WarGames match for Survivor Series. The structure has not been featured on the main roster yet. Survivor Series 2022 will be the first time the main roster superstars will witness the carnage and slaughter inside the caged structure.
But Kevin Owens won’t be new to the concept. The Prizefighter was also a part of a WarGames match back in NXT in 2019. Owens shocked the world as he came out as a surprise participant in the match at NXT: WarGames 2019. His second appearance in the structure also had a little surprise.
The Bloodline is scheduled to battle the team of Drew McIntyre and the Brawling Brutes. While Roman Reigns’ team was stacked with five participants, McIntyre and his allies had one open spot. On the recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown, a brawl between these men broke out. The Bloodline took their opponents down with the numbers advantage they had.
