WWE’s Main Roster has recently received some good rising stars. Zoey Stark is one of them. After having made her mark in NXT, she is now making waves on the main roster. She has already proved herself by instantly becoming a part of the Women’s World Heavyweight Title Picture. Fans saw her in the fatal-5-way match for it at Crown Jewel 2023, where she also became a part of a cameraman botch!
Fightful Select recently had an interview with Zoey Stark. They discussed the viral incident with the rising star. She mentioned that she only learned about it once she was backstage after the match. Cameraman Stu approached her and explained how she was entangled in the cords, which made her fall on them.
Zoey also recalled that she had another memorable moment when Trish Stratus hit her with a chair. It happened during her Falls-Count-Anywhere match with Becky Lynch on the August 28th episode of Raw. For those who don’t know, Stark made her main roster debut as a protege of Trish Stratus during her rivalry with the Man.
Zoey also stated that such an incident couldn’t be orchestrated at any cost. It would be interesting to see how her upcoming match for the Women’s World Heavyweight Championship against Rhea Ripley would unfold at Survivor Series 2023.
Zoey Stark expresses excitement over NXT moving to CW
Zoey Stark is one of the leading talents from NXT that fans just saw on the Main Roster. She embraces her NXT roots and is excited after hearing the news of NXT moving to CW. It will take place in the October of 2024. Denise Salcedo recently asked about her views in an interview:
I’m excited for everyone there on NXT to get this opportunity. It almost feels like NXT is turning into a third brand a little bit. So I’m really excited for them to get this opportunity and really make the most out of it.

It seems the newest challenger for the Women’s World Heavyweight Title is looking forward to seeing more bright stars for NXT in the future. Additionally, she believes that the talent will gain more exposure. All in all, she considers it a beneficial move.
