Batista is gearing up for the release of his Knock at the Cabin movie. Slated to run the cinema halls for most of the world tomorrow, the mystery horror is directed by M. Night Shyamalan. As been the life story for the WWE legend, he’s once again doing a high-paced techno-savy script. Many of his ardent followers has often wondered how it would feel if Dave ever leads a romantic story. Well, no more mumbling on the same as The Animal himself has addressed the situation.

While taking to Page Six during the New York City premiere this Monday, the former World Heavyweight Champion shed some light over his will to do a romantic sitcom. Mentioning how ridiculously jacked of a physical built he possesses, Batista said, he keeps watching himself in front of a mirror. Not for analyzing how shredded he’s becoming each passing day, instead, to find a peaceful inner soul of himself, which has a caring soul hidden inside.

Not only this, Dave implied how he keeps scouting that dark spot which seemingly excludes him from the category of gentleman and romance maestros. Well, of course he’s not the late, great Ward Bond of this generation, however, Batista’s not as ugly looking as he himself views like.

“I’m a little rough around the edges. But I always, you know, I look in the mirror and I say, I ask myself, ‘Am I that unattractive? Is there something that unappealing about me that excludes me from these parts?. I don’t know. It’s just never come my way. I’ve never had an offer to do a rom-com.”

Is Batista getting inducted into WWE Hall of Fame this year?

Batista is a 6-time World Champion in WWE

Needless to say, Batista will simply go down as one of the all-time greats of this wrestling industry. A certified inspiration to many present day wrestlers, sky was the limit for Guardians of the Galaxy star, back during his prime. He’s fought a legendary class of opponents including The Undertaker, John Cena, Randy Orton, and his former mentor Triple H.

For most of his career, The Animal always got looked as the number two in The Evolution stable led by Triple H, also having Ric Flair and Randy Orton as other members. Owing to the continuous hammering and getting viewed as an afterthought, Batista collected lava in the meantime within himself. At occasions, WWE teased a match between Hunter and his disciple. However, it never came to fruition until 2019.

At WrestleMania 35, the Avengers: Endgame cast finally received that long requested match against Triple H. Despite giving his all, Batista came up short and lost the match following a sneaky involvement of The Nature Boy during the closing moments. Momentarily after the show got over, Batista announced his in-ring retirement. Rumors are circulating that the WWE’s then physical specimen will be inducted into the Hall of Fame when WrestleMania goes Hollywood this year.
