“My perfect scenario,” Bayley comments on her dream WrestleMania 39 opponents
Ahead of WrestleMania 39, Bayley has named her dream opponents for The Super Bowl of Sports Entertainment. She would love to fulfill her personal ambitions, however, not at the expense of her faction members.

The WWE Universe is less than five weeks away from WrestleMania 39. Former SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley recently shared the names she wishes to square-off at the grandest stage. The leader of Damage CTRL wants to wrestle stars such as WWE Hall of Farmers and former champions.
The self-proclaimed Role Model Bayley was a special guest on ‘BT Sport’s Ariel Helwani Meets…’. During the interview, the Combat Sports journalist asked about Bayley’s plans for the 39th edition of WWE’s pop-culture extravaganza. The first-ever WWE Women’s Grand Slam Champion mentioned that she would’ve loved to have wrestle Sasha Banks or Hall of Famer Lita but according to the current scenario, the 33-year-old would prefer to see her faction compete in a marquee match-up.
Bayley said, “My perfect scenario in all of WWE WrestleMania is like me versus Lita or me versus Sasha or right now if I could pick someone (pick something) it’s Damage CTRL in a big match.” The Role Model also revealed that she wants to elevate the women’s tag team division. Worth noting, she didn’t forget to mention that both her and Sasha Banks were the ones who introduced the tag titles into this company being the inaugural champions. She also acknowledged Triple H for playing a pivotal role in reviving the drowning state of those tag team straps.
“I take those titles very personally because, we brought them to existence basically, and Triple H had a lot to do with that too. He helped us do that.” Bayley made a shocking return to WWE in August last year at the SummerSlam. She was away for nine months due to an ACL tear and thus was forced to miss her title match at Money in the Bank, back in 2021.
The Role Model returned after Bianca Belair retained the RAW Women’s title against Becky Lynch in Nashville. The former Hugger did not just come alone as she brought some backup in the form of Dakota Kai and former NXT Women’s Champion IYO SKY. The trio called themselves Damage CTRL. Within a few weeks since their debut they became the Women’s Tag Team Champions. They defeated the team of Alexa Bliss and Asuka and have been ruling the tag division ever since.

Bayley’s Damage CTRL set to defend their tag titles on WWE RAW
For several weeks, Bayley and her faction have been feuding with Becky Lynch. The feud between them began at SummerSlam 2022. On the following episode of WWE RAW, Lynch was taken out by Damage CTRL and was thus sidelined due to a previously dislocated shoulder.
Back in November their rivalry was reborn. The Man was revealed to be the fifth member of Team Bianca Belair for their War Games match at Survivor Series. Since then, Lynch and The Role Model have battled each other on multiple occassions. Every time the first-ever Women’s Grand Slam Champion came up short.
Last week on RAW, During a special edition of Ding Dong Hello! Damage CTRL were the special guests. As the faction was tooting their own horns, The Man and Lita showed up and issued a challenge for the Women’s Tag Team Titles. The match will take place this week on Monday Night RAW. The result of the match could determine Damage CTRL’s WrestleMania future.
