The rivalry between the two top stars, Becky Lynch and Rhea Ripley, has been a complicated one. Fan support for both superstars is so immense that it is difficult to choose an outright favorite. Ripley’s character is so unique that, although she is a heel, fans can’t help but cheer for her savage personality. Not only fans, but The Man herself also can’t figure out her rival’s true character. 

Becky Lynch gave an interview on the In the Kliq podcast and discussed her mindset to overcome the challenge of the increasing popularity of Rhea Ripley. She criticized her current booking by calling her the best babyface and the worst heel. The 37-year-old star then compared the two characters and picked some similarities between them.

She stated that they’re both top superstars, but one is dominant, whereas the other has to overcome everything. The Man concluded her statement by saying they worry about conveying the story to the audience instead of focusing on who is ‘heel’ and ‘babyface’.

The Irish Lass Kicker earned an opportunity to fight Rhea Ripley by defeating five other superstars in the Elimination Chamber match. This will be their very first match on the main roster as they fight for the title at WrestleMania. It will be interesting to see whether Lynch dethrones Ripley or whether Mami will continue her dominance over the women’s division.

Becky Lynch and Rhea Ripley fired a lot of shots at each other in various interviews and podcasts. The Man wanted to prove to the world and herself that she was still the best. However, Mami had a different opinion about it, which she shared on U.S. Champion Logan Paul‘s podcast.

Ripley made an appearance on the Impaulsive podcast, and it looked like she wasn’t concerned about her match at all. Although she praised The Man for accomplishing everything in her career, she said it’s impossible to climb the mountain named Rhea Ripley. 

I'm stepping in their with Becky Lynch. Obviously, it's BECKY LYNCH, she has made a name for herself, she has accomplished so much and made so much history. But... there's a reason why she wants this challenge, is to prove to herself that she is still the best, which unfortunately for her, Mami's always on top.

Even though Mami was confident, an interesting fact is that they have never fought each other on the main roster. Their only singles match was in NXT, where the match ended with no result due to an interference from Shayna Baszler. Her overconfidence in winning the match could let her down against a formidable challenger in Becky Lynch.
