The fact that Roman Reigns is set to compete on both nights at WrestleMania XL still has some fans in awe. A running gag among them has been that by pulling double-duty at ‘Mania, it would amount to half the work he does in a year. Becky Lynch, who’s the better half of one of The Tribal Chief’s soon-to-be opponents, Seth Rollins, has explained why it’s going to be a hard nut to crack for Reigns.
Speaking to 6ABC Philadelphia, The Man predicted a long weekend for The Bloodline’s leader. Lynch affirmed that Cody Rhodes is familiar with such a situation. Meanwhile, labeling her husband as a fighting champion, Lynch said he’s in a good place as well. But that doesn’t hold true for the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
She alluded to the fact that the WrestleMania weekend would be the most toiling period Reigns will go through over the last year. While not beating around the bush, Big Time Becks did not hold herself back. And why Rebecca’s prophecy might come to fruition has to do a lot with The Head of the Table’s cousin, The Rock. The latter is going to have his first WWE match on Saturday in eight years. That in itself screams ring rust.
For Roman, I mean he’s probably doubling his work that he’s done over the last year because he hardly ever shows up to work. So it’s going to be real tough on him.Becky Lynch on Roman Reigns’ WrestleMania XL schedule
Up until now, the company has massively held The Great One back when it comes to taking bumps. Last night on Raw, a bruised Cody Rhodes went after The Final Boss with a series of jabs. Rock avoided a catastrophe when Reigns tripped Rhodes off the commentary desk as he was about to put the Hollywood actor through the table.
Roman Reigns will induct Paul Heyman into this year’s Hall of Fame
Before heading to the Lincoln Financial Field on April 6, WWE descends on the Wells Fargo Center the night before. On Friday, following SmackDown, the arena will be spruced up for the 2024 Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
The class headliner, Paul Heyman, will be bestowed with the honor by none other than his client, Roman Reigns. The revelation was made by Big Uce himself during a backstage segment on Raw this week. There’s been enough back-and-forth in regards to who could’ve led Heyman’s charge to officially be called a WWE HOF’er.
Not only that, The Rock will induct his deceased grandmother, Lia Maivia, into the Hall of Fame, though posthumously, this weekend. Emotions are bound to run high as the biggest two-night wrestling rendezvous beckons.
