As you all know, Brock Lesnar is the reason for Bobby Lashley’s loss of the United States Championship, as the beast incarnate had attacked Bobby Lashley earlier that night on RAW when he was giving a promo.

Brock Lesnar delivered an F-5 and applied a Kimura, which subsequently injured Lashley. Bobby Lashley still gave a good fight to Seth Rollins, but being in pain due to Lesnar’s attack, he wasn’t able to fight and looked unfit, which was an advantage for Seth Rollins, and as a result he defeated Lashley to become the US Champion for the second time in his career.

Bobby Lashley has been having a great time in the WWE, and his second run in the company has been a phenomenal one as he became a two-time WWE Champion during this time. Lashley is a solid in-ring worker and has been decent on the mic too. Throughout his career, Lashley has been engaged in several storylines ranging from the worst to the finest, and he recently revealed that he had an idea for a gimmick that was rejected by Vince McMahon.

Bobby Lashley claimed on the Not SamWrestling Podcast that he informed Vince McMahon a year or two ago that he wanted to portray a character who has gone into serious depression and wants to put on 40, 50, 60, or 70 pounds simply to be overweight. Following that, someone like MVP may bring Lashley out of his despair, allowing the audience to see his change. Lashley stated that he felt he could pull it off, but Vince McMahon rejected his plan.

“I told Vince a year ago, I think a year or two ago, I told him, ‘I want to do this character.’ He said, ‘What is it?’ I said, ‘If I get beat one time, I want to go into the severe depression and put on like 40, 50, 60, or 70 pounds and just be fat, and then be a completely different character and then have like somebody like an MVP, or somebody that’s on my side, kind of like, pull me back and then have the crowd watch his transition back to me.’ He said, there’s no way you can do that.’ I said, ‘Man, I think I can.”

The match between Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley hasn’t been announced yet, but it is sure to happen at the Crown Jewel on November 4th at Mrsool Park, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
