WATCH: Bray Wyatt defeats 40-year-old heel after SmackDown went off-air last night
WWE sometimes puts content which needs to be on television in their dark matches. So being said, after last night's SmackDown went off-air, Bray Wyatt faced LA Knight.

The dynamics of Bray Wyatt are a pleasing sight to behold when done right. At times, things do get complicated with the creative behind Wyatt’s storylines, leading to an overall disaster. However, he’s got some momentum by his side after beating LA Knight at the Royal Rumble. And now, the New Face of Fear looks to march towards WrestleMania 39.
Last night on SmackDown, Wyatt did an in-ring segment with Uncle Howdy holding the ground as well. But before digging into that stuff, let’s discuss what happened after the show rolled off-cameras in Montreal. As captured by some fans in attendance at the Bell Centre, the former Universal Champion wrestled his old enemy LA Knight once again. After the spooky montage in that Pitch Black match at the Rumble, WWE ensured to have the rematch under proper lighting.
Also, it was a well-executed Street Fight last night. Coming straight to the outcome of that bout, Wyatt pinned Knight after a Sister Abigail. You can watch a short glimpse of that clash here. With this victory, the former Eater of Worlds now lies two wins above the 1-time Million Dollar Champion. Many fans are under the belief that the goofy stuff LA Knight had to go through, potentially downgraded his rising stock.
He was slowly getting his act over prior to Rumble, and now he’s not even made it to the ring for three straight weeks. Maybe WWE has something planned for Knight post Elimination Chamber. In the best case scenario at the moment, having Pat McAfee as LA Knight’s WrestleMania opponent would be perfect. Both men are known to spit fire during their promos, which is more than enough to build their match for the grandest stage.

Bray Wyatt issued a major challenge on last night’s SmackDown
Not only Bray competed in a dark match on the blue brand on Friday, he also had a significant on-air segment. He alongside Uncle Howdy interrupted Hit Row’s diss track to lay them out. Momentarily after, the former Wyatt Family leader uttered the most unexpected thing. So being said, he issued a warning towards Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar ahead of their singles clash tonight at the Elimination Chamber.
According to Wyatt, whoever wins in Montreal, then be it Lashley or Lesnar, they should prepare to run. And by the looks, the cult leader has seemingly picked his opponent for WrestleMania. Most probably, The Almighty can be the next prey to fall in line with Bray. Considering the ongoing reports of Brock Lesnar potentially fighting Gunther at the Show of Shows, Wyatt looks all set to welcome a Hurt Business in his playground.
Plus, WWE has officially announced a brand new edition of the Firefly Funhouse for next week’s SmackDown. This will most probably address Wyatt’s next challenger. As of the moment, it’s really tough to even imagine the possibility of having either Bobby Lashley or Brock Lesnar feud with someone like Bray Wyatt at this point. Keeping the negativity aside, at least the 35-year-old has his next program ready, well in advance.
